Adryne Caulder-James is a London born actor of British/Sierra Leonean heritage who graduated from The BRIT School  (2016 - 2020) and is currently training at Rose Bruford on the BA Actor-Musicianship course.

Her roles at sixth form include Katharina in The Taming Of The Shrew, an all-female cast flipping the misogynistic values to present a feminist re-imagining of the play and, Emilia in the play Emilia, a Shakespearian play challenging racial stereotypes and the journey of female black writers. In 2019 she was chosen to represent her school at an International Headteacher’s Conference in China and undertook a solo musical performance, and a devised ensemble theatrical piece with Chinese and British peers.

In summer 2023 Adryne played the title role in Sally Cookson’s CINDERELLA at Greenwich Theatre - her professional theatre debut.

Adryne plays the clarinet and the piano and sings.
