THOMAS ROYAL

Originally from the South West, Thomas grew up in Bristol.
After treading the boards from the age of 6 in local Am-Dram groups he became a member of the National Youth Theatre – taking part in their 60th Anniversary Gala at the Shaftesbury Theatre alongside Matt Smith, Jessica Hines, and Timothy Dalton among other distinguished alumni.
Following a brief stint travelling in China, Thomas decided to pursue acting professionally – gaining a place on Rose Bruford College’s BA Acting Degree in 2017.
Whilst Training; Thomas wrote and directed his first play: ‘Coming Home’ - as part of the College’s symposium Festival. He was also fortunate enough to play King Lear in the College’s Shakespeare Season in July 2019. Movement is also a speciality and Thomas has a wide experience in contemporary dance, both performing and working collaboratively to produce original pieces.
A Spoken Word poet, singer, dancer, and amateur baker – Thomas looks forward to making his debut in a major West End Show - delayed until 2021 by lock-down.
