Jim Conway
A Native Londoner with a wide experience of roles from Shakespeare to contemporary drama, Jim was an original member of the pioneering Hush-Hush Ensemble, performing classic plays in site-specific areas in S.E London.
Jim tackles challenging emotional roles as well as comedy and was acclaimed for his lead in new play BOTTICELLI’S ANGELS, as Irishman Frank O’Sullivan, dealing with the devastating effects of childhood abuse. By contrast, he also earned great plaudits for his darkly humorous ‘Malvolio’ in TWELFTH NIGHT for Grassroots at Leicester Square Theatre.
On screen Jim’s many credits have ranged from CALL THE MIDWIFE, DR WHO, SKYFALL and MURDER ON THE VICTORIAN RAILWAY to a leading role in 2019 short THE DEAD ONES, directed by Stefan Georgiou, attracting rave reviews and working with Martin Freeman in A CONFESSION for ITV.
Most recently Jim had a returning role in EASTENDERS and is upcoming in major Polish feature film ZYGIELBOJM'S DEATH set in London during WW2.
