Emil Lager

Emil was born in Sweden and is based in Stockholm and London. He trained at Jacques Lecoq in Paris and used his comic ability and musical talent in combination as he created his own show "Scandimaniacs" together with Sara Lewerth even before graduating. The show was well received in France, Sweden, Spain and England where Emil picked up a few parts straight away. Film credits now include HUGO (Martin Scorsese), CHEERFUL WEATHER FOR THE WEDDING (Donald Rice) and SUSPENSION OF DISBELIEF (Mike Figgis). Emil divides his time between playing gigs with his solo project, cabaret performances and filming, most recently spotted in BBC's new comedy series W1A. Emil is also the guitarist for Japanese superstar Ayumi Hamsaki in several of her music videos as he also really enjoys pretending to play guitar as well as actually playing it.
