Aoife was born and raised in London and with strong Irish roots. Her family are from Arranmore Island, a remote, Gaelic-speaking island off the coast of County Donegal.
Aoife graduated in English and Theatre from the University of Sheffield and first worked as a primary school teacher before her passion for performance led to a production with her local theatre company, then a short training course at Drama Studio London and finally to acceptance on Rose Bruford’s MA Actor Performer course.
Whilst training, Aoife played the formidable HEDDA GABLER under the direction of Irina Brown and 'Isabella' in Shakespeare’s MEASURE FOR MEASURE, directed by Ryan Kiggell.
Aoife has a passion for new writing and was fortunate enough to work with writer Isley Lynn, playing Ashleigh in her play ALBATROSS, directed by Offie 2021 Award Winner, Daniel Goldman.
Aoife is an IRISH and therefore also EU passport holder.
