Angus was born in Bath and grew up in the West Country. After sixth form he spent a year training at the Tobacco Factory with the Actors Workshop before attending Rose Bruford College, studying BA (Hons) Actor Musicianship.
Whilst training, Angus was selected as a finalist for the Carleton Hobbs award, hosted by the BBC. He also played the lead role in ‘From Morning to Midnight’ during RBC’s autumn season. Angus has a passion for music, he plays clarinet and bass guitar to high standards and is an award winning singer. Stage combat is another speciality and Angus recently passed the BADC standard exam with a distinction.
Although just embarking on his career, Angus’ professional debut was last November, featuring in a commercial for Wrigley’s chewing gum.
